Blog #210 – May 2026

Three years.  Actually, 37 months, almost to the day.  The last blog I wrote was April 2023.  Only a few days past that April date, Russian hackers attacked my server connection in Phoenix and tried to extort $500,000 from my internet administrator in order to release the contents of his client’s websites.  When he refused the threat, the hackers locked his server, and closed my six e-commerce sites in the process.

I am so proud to be writing this new blog at the new website, www.thebestcollegerecruiter.com.  I am so grateful to my brilliant and diligent website design team for creating this new edition of the old website, with all the updated bells and whistles.

This blog is my opinion page on topics athletic-related and non-athletic-related.  It will be my opportunity to vent on a current topic, extol a current issue, or do both.  I plan to have fun with it.  I certainly will welcome your comments as well.

I am also in the planning stage for the next Recruiters Institute webcast.  The topic will be NIL-oriented.  NIL is the hottest topic in college athletics right now.  It’s only appropriate that I resurrect the webcast and tackle the most controversial topic in collegiate athletics.  I’ll keep you updated.
